Instructor
Eileen May

Professional Background
Eileen began practicing yoga in 2003 while pregnant with her first daughter, drawn to the practice as a way to support a smoother, more mindful birth. In 2009, following the passing of her mother, yoga became a deeper source of healing and connection, particularly through its meditative and grounding practices.

Now a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500), Eileen completed her 200-hour certification at Soma Cura and her 300-hour certification at Ra Integral in the Galápagos Islands, both in 2024. Her training has given her a strong foundation in Hatha yoga, with an emphasis on mindful movement, breath, alignment, and creating space to connect the body and mind.

Eileen’s classes blend intentional movement with breath and awareness, offering students an opportunity to build strength, improve mobility, and find greater balance both on and off the mat. She believes yoga is a practice that can meet you exactly where you are, and she loves creating classes that feel welcoming, accessible, and meaningful for every body.
