Tara Scaringi

Professional Background
Tara has been in and around sports and athletics her whole life. As a three sport athlete in high school she knew she wanted to continue in the athletic arena for her career, just didn’t know what. After 2 years of collegiate basketball, she opted to continue her education in Athletic Training at SUNY Cortland where she also completed a masters degree in Exercise Science and her Certified Strength and Conditioning exam. As a graduate assistant, she was the head athletic trainer for the football team and women’s lacrosse team at SUNY Cortland.

She ultimately continued her education in Physician Assistant Studies at Daemen College and currently works per diem at Excelsior Orthopedics and as a sales rep for CellCore Biosciences.

She still needed more and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with the Baptiste Institute. This changed her life and how she views it. MOVEMENT is medicine, and yoga to her is a MOVING meditation.
